KARACHI, Nov 23: A faction of the Pakistan Muslim League was on Friday formed by Mir Zafar Zehri who was formerly the Balochistan chapter president of the PML (Ziaul Haq).
Speaking at a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Mr Zehri said that since Ejazul Haq had joined the PML-Q after the dissolution of the PML faction he was heading, he had no choice but to form his own wing i.e. the Pakistan Muslim League (Zehri).
In reply to a question, he said although his party endorsed all the policies of President Gen Pervez Musharraf, he had differences with the PML-Q leadership.

Earlier, he announced the names of his party’s office-bearers in all the provinces except Sindh, where officer-bearers were yet to be named. The central secretary-general of this faction of the PML is Omar Waraich. In Balochsitan: Abdul Razzaq Waraich (president), Omar Achakzai (secretary-general); NWFP: Azam Khan (president), Nisar Hazara (secretary-general); Punjab: Jamshed (president) and Aejaz (secretary-general).
