TAIPEI, Nov 23: Taiwan’s export orders in October rose to a record high of $32.20 billion from $30.92 billion in September, the economics ministry said on Friday.

The October figure represents a 17.99pc increase from the same month a year earlier, compared with a 16.10pc year-on-year rise in the preceding month, it said.

In the first 10 months of the year, Taiwan took in export orders worth $282.90 billion, up 15.14 per cent from the same period a year ago.—AFP
