KARACHI, Nov 23: Nine ships carrying containers and to load naphtha and ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light where only two ships, Kota Gentang to unload and load containers and Grigorussa-1 to unload oil were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed included Kota Gentang, Orient Stride and Hyundai Advance, while Cape Negro, Geo Baltic, Guard Aleta and Grigorussa-1 are due to due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 0.104m tons comprising 30,929 tons of export cargo and 72,541 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Faichem Colt to load 6,500 tons of ethanol, Iron Monger-2 to load 15,000 tons of naphtha, Eric G. Gibson, National Glory, Oel Strength, Satna Bhum, Emirates Karan, Soon Fu and Kapitan Byankin with containers.
