KARACHI, Nov 22: Five ships carrying DAP fertiliser, coal and to load clinkers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where five ships, Cape Negro, Hyundai Advance to unload and load containers, Grand Ruby to offload cars, Custodia Hellas to offload DAP fertiliser and Emerald Park to load ethanol were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included Emerald Park, Swat, Grand Ruby and APL Brisbane, while Hyundai Advance, Orient Stride, Sealo-1, Kota Ganteng and Cape Negro are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 75,126 tons comprising 27,580 tons of export cargo including 6,802 tons of cement and 2,459 tons of rice and 47,546 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Lalazar with crude oil, Kirkelo with 33,000 tons of DAP feriliser, J. Friend with general cargo, Vang An-2 with coal and Ocean Frontier to load 21,000 tons of clinkers.
