Team to leave for KL on 24th

LAHORE, Nov 21: Led by goalkeeper Salman Akbar, 20-member national hockey team leaves for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Saturday to take part in the Champions Trophy hockey tournament to be held from Nov 29 to Dec 9.

Pakistan will meet world champions Germany in the opening match on Nov 29 before facing Spain the next day. They take on Olympic champions Australia on Dec 2.

The greenshirts will play hosts Malaysia on Dec 3 and meet Great Britain on Dec 5.

Pakistan face Asian champions South Korea on Dec 6 before playing against the Netherlands on Dec 8 in their last league match.
