LAHORE, Nov 21: In the ongoing Pace Cup Polo here on Wednesday, three-goal Omar Asjad Malhi helped Artex beat Jeuni 7-2 to bring both teams to 1-1 at the end of the first chukker with Omar scoring his first on a field attempt. Raja Amer Khan restored the parity for Jeuni, converting a 30-yard penalty but Artex increased the lead to 3-1 in the second chukker as Omar and Umar Sadik pumped in one each.

The winners also dominated the third chukker taking the lead to 5-1, after Umar scored his third and Ali Ahsan Siddiqui chipped in one goal.

Maintaining the offensive game, Artex added two more through Malik Azam Hayat Noon and Omar Asjad Malhi as Saeed Aslam Khan fired for the losers but could only reduce the margin.

In another match, White Pearl defeated Polo D Sufi 5 1/2-3. Atif Tiwana (3), Tahir Aslam Awan (1) and Agha Murtaza Ali Khan (1) scored for the winners who had a half goal handicap. Ashfaq Ahmed (2) and Kamran Noor-ud-Din (1) were the scorers for the losing side.
