KARACHI: Academic year

Published November 22, 2007

KARACHI, Nov 21: A delegation of the All Private Schools Management Association, Sindh chapter, on Wednesday demanded the revival of the old schedule of the academic year. Headed by Sindh APSMA chairman Syed Khalid Shah, the delegation called on caretaker minister for education Shujaat Ali Baig and education secretary Chaudhry Mohammad Ali and congratulated them on assuming the charge of their offices.

They demanded the revival of the past schedule of academic sessions when it used to begin from the month of April instead of August. They underscored the need to boost coordination between the association and the education department in order to improve education standards and resolve all the issues amicably.
