KARACHI, Nov 21: Three ships carrying containers and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Orient Stride, APL Brisbane to unload and load containers and Swat to offload crude oil were berthed on Wednesday.

Sailing on the other hand was active as seven ships, Sinar Bintan, Harmony, Gulf Bridge, C. Galaxy, Surmene-4, Process and Gulf Tiger departed on Wednesday, while Emerald Park, APL Brisbane, Swat and Grand Ruby are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 0.132m tons comprising 21,468 of export including 2,188 tons of rice and 6,263 tons of cement and 0.110m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Kota Ganteng, Eric G. Gibson with containers and Red Sea Spirit to load 16,500 tons of cement.
