Four security men injured in firing

QUETTA, Nov 18: Four security personnel were injured, two of them seriously, when militants attacked a convoy of security forces between Sui and Dera Bugti on Sunday evening.

According to official sources, the convoy was going from Kashmore to the Loti gas field when it was attacked with rockets and automatic weapons near the Tali-Mat area.

One of the rockets hit a vehicle in the convoy, injuring subidar Shahadat, naib subidar Syed Badshah, driver Mohammad Shamin and soldier Omar Shakoor.

The militants escaped when the security personnel returned fire.

The injured personnel were taken to the CMH in Pano Akil.
