NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Journalists protest

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Nov 18: A large number of journalists held a rally and observed a token hunger strike here on Sunday in protest against curbs the media.

The journalists led by Mazhar Khan Khaskheli, Younus Rajpar, Qasim Isran, Ali Nawaz Solangi, Zahid Rajpar, Ghulam Mustafa Tager started the rally from the press club.

It ended at at Mehran Hotel where they staged a demonstration and a token hunger strike for four hours.

Raising slogans against the government for imposing restrictions on media, emergency, arrests of political workers, journalists and lawyers, the protesters demanded release of all the arrested persons.
