MANSEHRA, Nov 18: Following the imposition of the state of emergency in the country on Nov 3, the crime rate has increased in Mansehra and adjoing areas as police is spending more time on hunting down lawyers and politicians, Dawn has learnt.
A gang of dacoits opened fire on a police vehicle late on Saturday night and seriously injured SHO Aslam Pervez.
The police official was rushed to the Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad in critical condition.
