NEW DELHI, Nov 17: Pakistan’s prolific batsman Mohammad Yousuf will face an arbitration hearing on November 21 over his decision to withdraw from the Indian Cricket League.

The hearing will take place a day before the start of the first Test against India. The Pakistan batsmen signed a contract with the rebel ICL after he was left out of the Pakistan squad for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament in South Africa. However, he later cancelled his contract after being recalled to the Pakistan team. He has subsequently signed a contract with the official Indian Premier League.

Ashish Kaul, executive vice-president of the Essel Group, the promoters of the ICL, said: “We will not let him set a bad example.”
