Govt tactics won’t work, says Imran

LAHORE, Nov 17: The struggle for democracy will continue despite the use of repressive tactics by the government, says Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

In a message to lawyers, judges, political leaders, workers and civil society members from jail on Saturday through PTI Punjab President Ahsan Rashid, Mr Khan praised deposed judges, lawyers and journalists for playing their role for the restoration of democracy and rule of law in Pakistan. He slammed the government for shutting down Geo and ARY-One TV channels and restricting access to information. —Reporter
