KHAIRPUR: JI hits out at emergency

KHAIRPUR, Nov 17: The Naib Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami’s Sindh chapter, Mumtaz Hussain Sehto, has criticised Gen Pervez Musharraf for imposing emergency and said that it had only strengthened the autocracy which would not help improve anything in the country.

He was talking to reporters during his visit here on Friday night.

He said that price hike, unemployment and law and order situation were at their worst and the people were feeling strong sense of deprivation and helplessness.
