PTTF invite 21 players for coaching camp

KARACHI, Nov 16: The Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) has invited 21 players including 10 women for a three-month coaching camp (first phase) which is to begin under the expertise of two North Korean coaches at the PSB Coaching Centre from Nov 18.

The foreign coaches, whose arrival was delayed for some reason, are now scheduled to reach here early Sunday morning.

Their trip has been sponsored by the Pakistan Sports Board to prepare a strong outfit for the South Asian Games and other foreign committments.

The players have been asked to report at the PSB Coaching Centre on Sunday at 5.00pm.

Players:

Men: Bilal Yasin (Wapda), Kashif Razzak (Punjab), Saleem Abbas (Wapda), Asim Qureshi (Wapda), Yasir Bhatti (Habib Bank), Abdul Rahim (Punjab), Syed Owais Hasan (Railways), Salman Virk (Railways), Shozaib Raza (Punjab), Abdullah Naeem (Railways) and Waqas Ayub (Islamabad).

Women: Ghalia Khursheed (Habib Bank), Ayesha Khan (Habib Bank), Sadia Yasin (Habib Bank), Shabnam Bilal (Habib Bank), Ayesha Iqbal (Wapda), Sadia Falaksher (Wapda), Louiza Irshad (Wapda), Kanwal Iqbal (Railways), Maleeha Khursheed (Sindh) and Mobin Hanif (Punjab).

Stand-byes: Men: Fahim Raza (Punjab) and Usman Ahmed (Sindh). Women: Naureen (Punjab) and Anum Saeed (Sindh).
