MULTAN/DERA GHAZI KHAN, Nov 16: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan has been shifted to the Dera Ghazi Khan jail from Kot Lakhpat prison in Lahore on Friday.

Sheikh Muhammad Nadeem, Dera jail superintendent, confirmed that Imran Khan had been shifted here and provided ‘B-Class’ jail. Refusing to allow any kind of contact with the incarcerated PTI chief, he just said: “He (Imran) is alright”.

According to reports, Imran was handcuffed when he reached Dera Ghazi Khan. Looking fresh while talking to journalists who had gathered at the district jail gate, Imran said the final round against dictatorship had taken off and a complete victory of democracy was just around the corner.

Arrested in Lahore on Wednesday, a case was registered against Imran under sections of PPC, 16-MPO and 7-ATA. He was brought to the Dera jail from Lahore in the afternoon.
