By Our Sports Reporter

KARACHI, Nov 15: Habib Bank cantered to their fourth straight victory in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy National Cricket Championship with a three-day rout of Faisalabad by 10 wickets at the Sports Stadium in Sargodha on Thursday.

Spinner Dilawar Khan was the architect of the bankers’ latest triumph. The slow left-armer, who ended up remarkable match figures of 10 for 29, grabbed a career-best 7-23 as Faisalabad were dismissed for 124 in the second innings.

Peshawar’s Nauman Habib also claimed his best analysis (7-63) as his side pulled off a 43-run win over Abbottabad at the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar. Nauman finished with match bag of 11 for 101 as the visitors were all out for 121 in their second knock.

ZTBL also emerged early victors as eased past Lahore Shalimar by 10 wickets at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Pakistan Customs’ woeful season continued as they succumbed to an innings and 45-run thrashing at the hands of Wapda at the Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala. Lanky left-arm speedster Sarfraz Ahmed (5-46) and Kashif Raza (4-32) compounded Customs’ problems in the second innings that ended at 129.
