FAISALABAD, Nov 15: The police loosened up besiege of district court premises and allowed lawyers to engage in their business on Thursday.
The district bar association members were allowed access to the bar premises and their offices were unlocked for their routine work. However, most of lawyers preferred to sit in the DBA offices instead of joining court proceedings.
Lawyers crowded together in the barroom and discussed their future course of action.
Bar acting secretary-general Nadeem Salimi said police relaxed the bar cordon off on its own. He resolved that lawyers would continue their struggle till the withdrawal of emergency, revoking of Provisional Constitution Order, reinstatement of judges and supremacy of apex courts.
