MIRPURKHAS, Nov 15: Four of the five sugar mills of the district, Mirpurkhas, Al-Abbas, Digri and Tharparkar, started crushing on Thursday, with only Najma sugar mills still remaining closed.

The sugar mills had issued indents to growers about a week ago to enable them to transport their crops. With the sugar mills crushing the growers have got busy harvesting their crop.

Our Nawabshah correspondent adds: Habib, Sakrand and Al-Noor sugar mills of the district also started crushing on Thursday.
