NWFP governor hunts more partridges

NAWABSHAH, Nov 11: NWFP governor continued the hunting of partridges in Pai Forest and Game Sanctuary near Sakrand for the second day on Sunday.

Governor Ali Mohammed Jan Aurakzai, who stayed overnight in Nawabshah, reached Pai Forest on Sunday morning and hunted another 20 partridges, making a total of 79 since Saturday.

Wapda Chairman Shakeel Durrani who accompanied the governor did not join him during the hunt and stayed at Pai Rest House.

The governor left Nawabshah for Islamabad in the afternoon.

BLACK DAY: Members of the Nawabshah Press Club observed black day and wore black armbands against the curbs on the freedom of press and ban on transmission of private TV channels in the country, here on Sunday.

DEATH: A man, Mohammed Alam Channa, 40, incharge H.M Khoja Library Nawabshah died due to cardiac arrest here on Sunday.
