KARACHI: PMA medical camp in Gabopat today

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Nov 10: To contain the spread of viral fever which has claimed 14 lives over the past two months in Deh Allah Bano, a village in Gabopat Union Council of Keamari Town, the Pakistan Medical Association in collaboration with the Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum will organize a free medical camp on Sunday.

The PMA team, comprising general physicians, gynaecologists and ENT specialists, would examine patients at the government dispensary, which is the sole health unit in the area that has been lying closed for many years.

PMA General-Secretary Dr Qaiser Sajjad said tests for malaria would be carried out free of cost and test samples for undiagnosed cases would be collected.
