KARACHI, Nov 10: Eight ships carrying DAP fertiliser, containers and chemicals are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships were berthed to unload containers, coal and petrol. They are: Y.M.Energy, Harmony, to unload and load containers, Ulcas, Ikroquois Maiden, with coal, Yang Hai, with DAP fertiliser, Panagia Lady to offload petrol, Iron Butterfly to offload general cargo and Asian Queen to load cement.

Sailing was also active as over a dozen ships departed, including Mol Sdmiration, Hyundai Sprinter, Emirates Meru, Helenic Rickmers, Oel Strength, Kapitan Bayankin, Pacific Energy, Jade Trader, Cosco Lian Yun Gang departed on Saturday.

Six others, Chitral, Harmony, Al-Husani, Y.M.Energy and Banglar Maya are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total cargo volume of 0.196 million tons, comprising 44,373 tons of export cargo and 0.152m tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Chemstar Brave with chemicals, Soon Fu, Pn Ge, Conti Germany, Conti Esperance, and Mantha with containers, Capetan Letters, with DAP fertiliser, Chi Feng Kou, with general cargo.

The following are due on Monday: Sea Tank, wotj Lube oil, Isabel Kuntsen, with chemicals, St James Park, to load ethanol, Kentin Ningbo, Mol Ability, and Wehr Rissan, with containers.
