KARACHI, Nov 8: Four ships carrying containers, edible oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday. Meanwhile, two more container ships also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Nedlloyd Europa, ACX Mimosa, Nikita, Venus-II, Vema Ocean and Chemstar Hero, were busy in loading and unloading containers, edible oil, furnace oil and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 75,519 tons comprising 55,629 tons of import and 19,890 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Vima Ocean, Chemstar Hero and Nedlloyd Europa left the port while Nikita and ACX Mimosa were expected to depart on Thursday.
