THATTA: SHO arrested

THATTA, Nov 7: The SHO of Makli Police Station has been booked and locked up for illegally confining two labourers, here on Wednesday.

The SHO Makli, Daim Khaskheli had been alleged of arresting two labourers Shamim Arain and Basar Khan, working near Ran Patiani two days back. They were locked up without lodging any case. Governor Sindh got the information who ordered registration of a case against the SHO. Makli Police after lodging FIR under section 156 and 342 PPC arrested the SHO.

Police sources said the labourers were lifting sand from a prohibited place, hence arrested.

The subordinate staff arrested the SHO and locked him up on Governor’s order.
