KARACHI, Nov 7: Three ships carrying containers, furnace oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday. Meanwhile, four more ships with containers, diesel oil and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Five ships, Nedlloyd Europa, SC Tianjin, Vema Ocean, Qemstar and Marira, were busy in loading/unloading containers, edible oil, furnace oil, chemicals and coke.

A cargo volume of 102,000 tons comprising 77,000 tons of import and 25,000 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as SC Tianjin, Qemstar and Marlera left the port while Vema Ocean and Nedlloyd Europa were expected to depart on Wednesday.
