KARACHI, Nov 7: Seven vessels carrying containers, coal and to load naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Northern Fortune, Mol Admiration, Oel Strength, Augusta and APL Sokhna were berthed to unload and load containers after the departure of nine.
The ships, which departed included Calvin P. Titus, Wan Hai-311, Global Progress, Mol Asante, Northern Fortune, Banga Lanka, Ocean Frontier, Lucky Arrow and Team Al-Emirates, while Swat, Augusta, Liberty Grace, Mousavi, Mol Admiration, APL Sokhna and Morning Glory are due to sail out on Thursday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 80,582 tons comprising 31,745 tons of export cargo and 48,837 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.
The following ships are due on Thursday: Steela with crude oil, Formosa Product Cosmos to load naphtha, Kapitan Byankin and Marine Star-1 with containers, Ulcas and Ikroguois Maiden with coal and Iron Butterfly with general cargo.
