KARACHI, Nov 5: Four ships carrying containers and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five vessels, Wan Hai-311, Global Progress and MOL Asante to unload and load containers, Southern Imperial and Morning Glory, oil tankers were berthed after the departure of eight ships.

The ships, which departed included Cape Negro, Satha Bhum, Conti Harmony, Lalazar, Prince, Jens Munk, Southern Imperial and Asha Helmani, while Bunga Lanka, Calvin P. Titus, MOL Asanti, Ocean Frontier, Lucky Arrow, Wan Hai-311, Northern Fortune, Team Al-Emirates, Morning Glory, Liberty Grace and Swat are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 77,645 tons comprising 41,847 tons of export cargo including rice, cement and clinkers and 35,998 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Panagia Lady, tanker, Hyundai Sprinter, Emirate Meru with containers and Asian Queen to load 20,000 tons of cement.
