MIRPURKHAS, Nov 5: The vice-chancellor of the Sindh University, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui on Monday deplored the condition of primary and secondary education in Sindh and said thousands of schools were being run without teachers and a large number of children were deprived of education.
Speaking as chief guest at the awards distribution ceremony among doctors and volunteers at the end of a three-day free eye camp held under Fakhar Imdad Foundation Karachi in Digri he stressed the need for quality education and said that it was essential for healthy society.
