New SSP assumes charge

ISLAMABAD, Nov 4: The newly-appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Islamabad, Syed Kaleem Imam assumed the charge of his office here on Sunday.

Immediately afterwards, he also held a meeting with all the Additional Superintendents of Police (ASPs), Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), Incharge of the Central Investigation Agency’s (CIA) Investigation and Legal department and Station House Officers (SHOs) of the capital territory.

Mr Imam, who had earlier served in the capital at the same post, urged the officers to work as a team for the maintenance of law and order in the city. “Those police officials performing well would be encouraged and non-performing officials would have to face strict action,” he declared.—Agencies
