NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Man killed by bandits

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Nov 4: A man was killed and three others were injured when they tried to stop armed men from running away after robbing a man of his motorcycle in taluka Kandiaro on Sunday.

Reports said that three armed men snatched the bike from Ali Hassan Bhand near village Nadir Shah.

Several persons of Khushik tribe followed the motorcycle snatchers and when they reached the jurisdiction of Hassan Shaheed police station, the armed men opened fire in return people also retaliated.

As a result of exchange of fire Mohammad Soomro, 45, was killed while his brother Mohammad Moosa, a school teacher, and two accomplices of the dacoits identified as Gajan Jatoi and Pehalwan Jatoi, were injured.

The SPO Kandiaro, Fida Hussain Awan told reporters that two FIRs wouold be lodged one at police station Mohabbat Dero for snatching motorcycle and another one for killing and injuring a person at police station Hassan Shaheed.
