BEIJING, Nov 2: Pakistan and China signed here on Friday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in scientific, technological and logistic areas in accordance with the principles of the Antarctic Treaty and its Protocol on Environmental Protection.
The MoU on Research Cooperation in Antarctic Science was signed between the National Institute of Oceanography of Pakistan and the Antarctic and Arctic Administration of China.
Science and Technology Secretary Parvez Butt and Antarctic and Arctic Administration director Qu Tanzhou signed the agreement.—APP
