By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Nov 1: Unicef has sent a consignment of relief goods for people rendered homeless by flood in Balochistan.

According to Unicef, a large number of the flood-affected people are still living tents and the approaching winter is making life all the more difficult for them.

The agency has sent 7,500 quilts, 5,040 blankets and shoes and woolen caps to Kharan, Kalat, Kech and Nasirabad districts. Food and medicines are also included in the relief supplies.

“More relief goods will be provided to homeless people,” the official said.
