QUETTA, Oct 30: Nawabzada Jamil Bugti, son of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, has said the Baramdagh faction of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) will not take part in the elections held with President Gen Pervez Musharraf at the helm of affairs.

“Gen Musharraf is the killer of my father. Therefore, it is not possible for his party, the JWP, to take part in the next elections,” he said.

In his statement, he urged other Baloch nationalist parties to boycott the elections. “They should announce boycott of elections,” Mr Bugti said, adding that they should struggle for the rights of the Baloch people.

He criticised the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal for what he called its double game.

Mr Bugti praised Tehrik-i-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan for openly criticising Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other MMA leaders for their double standards.
