Four killed in two accidents

KHANEWAL, Oct 30: Four people, including two children, were killed and four others sustained injuries in accidents on Tuesday in Mian Channu tehsil, about 45km away from here.

A Multan-bound loader collided with a motorcycle-rickshaw near Sharif Cotton factory on G.T.Road. As a result, rickshaw passengers Saima, 11, and Abdullah, 4, were killed on the spot while Salma Bibi, 30, succumbed to her injuries in hospital.

The injured identified as Tariq Javaid and Shahid Latif were admitted to Mian Channu THQ Hospital.

In the second incident, a motorcycle-rickshaw collided with a motorbike on Tulamba Road Bypass, killing Sakeena Bibi of village 129/15-L and injuring Ahmad and Zulfiqar.
