HYDERABAD, Oct 30: A notable of Thana Ahmed Khan, Kohistan, District Jamshoro, Malik Humayoon s/o of Malik Allauddin has accused District Nazim Malik Asad Sikandar of harassing his opponents through registration of false cases and urged the authorities to take notice of the alleged excesses against the people of Kohistan.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Tuesday, he said his father Malik Allauddin was uncle of Malik Asad Sikandar but was being constantly harassed and intimidated.

He said Malik Asad only a few days back through his cousin Malik Shafqat had registered an FIR of firing against him.

He said on Oct 22, former chief minister of Balochistan Sardar Zulfiqar Magsi and Nawab Jamil Bugti, son of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, came to visit his father but a case of illegal hunting in the restricted area was registered against them at the instance of Malik Asad.

He said thereafter he himself was accused of firing on the bungalow of Malik Shafqat, cousin of Malik Asad. He said both these cases were false.

He said all this was being done to harass and intimidate his family. He said even his Otaq in Goth Tando Soomar, Tando Allahyar, was raided by Thana Bula Khan Police a few days back and his hari Aslam Katoor was arrested and was being held incommunicado. He alleged that items in the Otaq were taken away by police.

He said Malik Asad Sikandar had instigated the people of Thana Bula Khan to launch a social boycott of Malik Allauddin and Malik Changez Khan. He also accused Malik Asad of patronising criminals.

He claimed the maternal uncle of Malik Asad, Aslam Bhotani, Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly, visited Sardar Zulfiqar Magsi at his residence and apologised for the registration of the hunting case against him.

He said urged the authorities to take notice of the alleged excesses of Malik Asad.
