KARACHI, Oct 30: Services at the gynaeology and obstetrics department of the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) did not resume on Tuesday though an understanding between the hospital administration and the doctors posted in the department had reached after negotiations.
The doctors refused to resume work until their grievances were addressed and demands met.
An inspection team visited the department on Tuesday to look into the doctors’ complaint about poor quality repair work at the elective surgery theatre.
