NEW YORK, Oct 30: Police investigating the theft of a digital camera from a store in the US state of Connecticut were surprised to find the thief had left a picture of himself on a display model. According to the Hartford Courant newspaper, video surveillance shows the man taking a picture of himself on the display model before putting it down and walking out of the store with another 400-dollar camera.

Late night US TV comedy program “The Tonight Show” had reportedly already approached police to feature the alleged thief on its “Dumbest Criminals” segment.—AFP
