LAHORE, Oct 29: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restored membership of three MPAs after they submitted their statements of assets and liabilities. The MPAs are Shagufta Anwar (Punjab), and Saira Shahliani and Syed Irfan Ali Shah (Sindh).
Under sub-section 42-A of the Representation of People’s Act, 1976, all public representatives are required to submit statements of assets and liabilities by Oct 15.
In case of violation, their memberships are suspended until they comply with the legal provision. —Staff Reporter
