JACOBABAD, Oct 29: Three children died of measles in Arifabad village, Taluka Thul, on Monday.
Victims were Rashid Ali 4, Amir Ali 8, both brothers and Zahida 6, their sister.
MEETING: Citizens and political parties held a meeting on Monday to discuss the deteriorating law and order situation in Jacobabad.
A 14-member committee was formed with Mohammad Akram Abro of Citizen Alliance, Ahmed Ali Brohi of Chamber of Commerce, Dr A.G. Ansari of the JUI, Aziz Abro of the PML-N, Haji Ghulam Nabi Rind of Mazdoor Ittehad, Lal Chand Seetlani of Hindu Panchayat, Srichand Bhawnani, Babu Mahesh, Hafiz Mir Mohammad Banglani, Amir Khoso of the PTA, Shahid Mughal of Khaksar Tahreek, Manohar Lal Chawla, and Ramesh Lal.
CRIMINALS ARRESTED: Three alleged criminals were arrested by the City Police, on Monday. The accused were Haji Khan Lohar, Asghar Banglani and Tawangar Jakhrani.
