KARACHI, Oct 29: Five ships carrying containers, coal and to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where a dozen ships, notably Soon Fu, Med Carrara, Wan Hai-301, Jitra Bhum, Al-Maqwa, Swat, Mont Ace, and Hansa Century were berthed after the departure of Cap Colorado, Eric G. Gibson, Soon Fu, Naliau, Chemstar Brave, Alfred Oldendorf, Mont Ace and Al-Maqwa.

Bunga Melati, Satu, Wan Hai-301, Golina, Hansa Century, Golden Arrow-2, Kota Gunawan and Med Carrara are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total cargo volume of 0.218m tons comprising 37,126 tons of export cargo and 0.181m tons of import cargo was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: APL Amman, Bunga Terasek, with containers, Lastos, with coal, Naftoc Cement, to load 12,000 tons of cement and Zhen Hua-2, with project cargo.
