LAHORE, Oct 28: Robbers deprived several citizens of cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands in different street crime incidents in the city on Sunday.
Two robbers stopped Imran in Huma Block in the Iqbal Town area and snatched Rs90,000 and a cell phone at gunpoint.
Two gun men came to Afzaal and his family at Dhoobi Ghat in the Sanda police precinct, snatched thousands in cash, jewellery and cell phones.
Two robbers stopped Ahmed in the Township area and snatched cash and a cell phone while three robbers came to a man in Misri Shah, whose identity has yet to be ascertained, and deprived him of Rs200 and a cell phone.
Two armed men stopped a motorcyclist, name not known, in the Ravi Road police precinct and snatched his motorcycle (LWL-1976) at gunpoint while as many robbers deprived another men, whose identity has yet to be ascertained, of his new motorcycle in the Raiwind City area.
One robber stopped a pedestrian, whose identity has yet to be ascertained, at gunpoint at Rustam Park in the Gulshan-i-Ravi area and deprived him of cash and cell phone while two robbers came to a man in the Nawankot police precinct and snatched his cell phone.
Two robbers barged into Tariq General Store in Fazal Park in the Shad Bagh area, held the owner at gunpoint and escaped with Rs8,000, a cell phone, a computer and other valuables.
Robbers stormed into a house at Balochanwala Mohalla in the Shad Bagh police precinct, held inmates at gunpoint and took away cash, jewellery and other valuables.
