HYDERABAD, Oct 28: The cantonment police have lodged a case against some PPP activists for burning effigies of Sindh chief minister on Saturday outside the press club.

An FIR was lodged on the complaint of the SHO under sections 147, 148, 149, 341 PPC vide crime no 133/07 against Fayyaz Shah, Abdul Wahid Sheikh, Rehan comrade, Imran Pathan, Aijaz Molai and 35 other unidentified persons.

They had burnt the effigies while protesting against the chief minister for his alleged derogatory remarks passed against Ms Benazir Bhutto.
