Four bikes, cellphones, cash snatched

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 26: Four motorcycles, Rs16,000 and two mobile phones were snatched in different incidents near Kandiaro on Friday.

According to reports, Ali Anwar Kalhoro was on his way with his wife when three armed men snatched his motorcycle (NF-8973), one mobile phone and Rs1,000 cash on Kandiaro-Tharushah Link Road.

Three armed men snatched a motorcycle, Rs15,000 cash and a mobile phone from Hesco Lineman Arbab Pirzado on Kandiaro-Mohbat Dero Link Road.In the third incident, armed men snatched motorcycle from Hesco Line Superintendent Jalaluddin near Wangani minor, Naushahro Feroze-Tharushah Link Road. Abdul Razzaq Abbasi was deprived of his bike near Kalhora station.

Rally taken out: The employees of the Food Department took out a rally demanding appointment of children against the quota of deceased employees and payment of difference of the salary, on Friday.

A large number of chowkidars led by the President Food Department Employees Union Sindh, Mohammad Younus Rajpar took out the rally from District Food Controller Office and reached outside press club and staged demonstration.

They demanded of the Sindh Government to appoint the sons of deceased food employees. They complained that after confirmation of the services of temporary Godown Keepers, they were not paid the difference of their salary.
