BANNU, Oct 26: Police arrested two teenagers in a raid here on Friday.

Station House Officer of the City police station Iqbal Khan said the teenagers had been arrested from the Khandan Sarai locality.

Addressing a press conference here, he said the police had also seized six detonators, two hand grenades and other material from the boys.

He said that one of the suspects, Mohammad Ismail, tried to escape but was arrested by the Rider Squad from the city’s bus terminal. The other accused was identified as Makiaz Khan, 14.

Officials said the two suspects belonged to the North Waziristan Agency, bordering Bannu district. They were shifted to the police station and were being interrogated. No FIR had so far been registered, said an official.

Meanwhile, an explosion completely destroyed a cyber cafe near the engineering university building on the Dera Road on Thursday night.
