KARACHI, Oct 26: Six ships carrying palm oil, chemicals and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Pac Antlia, Emirates Adam and Cap Colorado to unload and load containers, Notori Dake to offload DAP fertiliser, Lalazar and Chemstar Brave, tankers were accommodated berths.

Five ships, Harmony, Pac Antlia, Emirates Adam, Nan Change Hai and Pacific Champ departed on Friday, while Hyundai Future, Pos Leader, Sibi, Chemstar Brave and Lalazar are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.118m tons comprising 20,347 tons of export cargo including 1,900 tons of rice and 7,134 tons of cement and 97,757 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Mont Ace with chemicals, Iran Faraz with general cargo, Bunga Melati Satu with 7,000 tons of palm oil, Swat with crude oil, Eric G. Gibso and Oel Spirit with containers.
