Singapore output dips
SINGAPORE, Oct 26: Singapore’s industrial output fell 2.8 per cent in September from a year earlier mainly due to a dip in pharmaceuticals production, the government said on Friday.
Compared with the previous month, manufacturing output in September declined 6.4pc, the Economic Development Board said. Biomedical output shrank 29.6pc as production of pharmaceutical ingredients used in a wide array of medicines worldwide fell 37.1pc due to a change in product mix, it said.—AFP
