Second round ties start today

KARACHI, Oct 25: The second round matches in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy National Cricket Championship will be played from Friday, with 10 games scheduled.

Karachi Whites will be searching for their first win after taking just three points from their opening fixture against Hyderabad. They take on Lahore Ravi at the Asghar Ali Stadium here.

Karachi Blues, who suffered a heavy defeat against Rawalpindi, travel to Quetta for their match.

Second round schedule (Oct 26-29):

Karachi Whites v Lahore Ravi at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium, Karachi (umpires: M. Akbar Khan and Iqbal Butt; match referee: Naeem Ahmed).

Pakistan Customs v SSGC at NBP Sports Complex, Karachi (umpires: Mian Aslam and Ijaz Ahmed; match referee: Mahmood Rasheed).

Hyderabad v Habib Bank at Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad (umpires: Shakeel Khan and Khalid Mahmood Sr; match referee: Ilyas Khan).

Faisalabad v National Bank at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad (umpires: Kaukab Butt and Hyder Lehri; match referee: Arshad Pervez).

Sialkot v Multan at Sheikhupura Stadium (umpires: Ahmed Shahab and Akmal Hayat; match referee: Abdul Sami Khan).

KRL v PIA at KRL Stadium, Rawalpindi (umpires: Iftikhar Malik and Jamil Kamran; match referee: Aziz-ur-Rehman).

ZTBL v SNGPL at Arbab Niaz Stadium, Peshawar (umpires: Islam Khan and Mohammad Arif; match referee: Ishtiaq Ahmed).
