SHIKARPUR, Oct 25: A token hunger strike was observed by activists of Jeay Sindh Students Federation at Lakhi gate chowk against brutal police action on students of Mehran University Jamshoro here on Thursday.
JSSF leader Imran Mangi and Sajjad Hyder led the rally and the hunger strike while Zulfiqar Mahar, Bilawal Mahar, Sarmad Brohi, Shakeel Bhutto, Mumtaz Sanjrani, Lala Murtaza, Hemo Sindhi, Raja Soomro and other JSSF the leaders and workers observed hunger strike.
The protesters demanded withdrawal of false cases, suspension of the hostel provost and resolution of outstanding problems faced by the students of Mehran University.
