KARACHI: Road to be named after Tabish Dehlavi

KARACHI, Oct 25: On the directives of the Sindh governor and the Karachi city nazim, a road in Liaquatabad Town will be named after acclaimed poet, writer and broadcaster Masood-ul-Hasan Tabish Dehlavi, said a press release.

A resolution was unanimously passed recently to name the road, starting from Nazimabad No. 7 where the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital is located, after the renowned Urdu poet.

A function will be organised soon to formally inaugurate the road.
