KARACHI: Illegal structures razed

KARACHI, Oct 25: Several illegal structures including a marriage garden was demolished by a team of the Karachi Building Control Authority in Gulshan-i-Iqbal and Liaquatabad on Thursday.

A demolition squad razed RCC roof and stairs constructed at mandatory open area on plot no. B-85 in Block 13-D/1 and RCC roof and partition walls on the third flour of plot no. 4-A in Azeem Khan Goth.

Similarly, some structures built at mandatory open space of different buildings on flat no. 3 and 4 of Bleez Garden in block 5-A, in Metroville Sector 14-A were razed.

A demolition operation was delayed due to the presence of the inmates in a building built in violation of the building laws at plot no. 503-C in block no. 7 & 8 of Adamjee Nagar.

During another operation the RCC columns and shuttering installed on the third floor of a plot on plot no. 484-C and plot no. 240 in CP & Bearers Society were pulled down.—PPI
